He is survived by: his parents, Edward John Smith and Cheryl Ann Durbin Smith (Toree Wallace) of Benld, IL; his children, Mikayla Smith and Hudsen Smith; his sister Bridget Halerewicz (Janek) of Auburn, IL; his nephew Jonathan; his grandparents, Ronald and Diana Durbin of Gillespie, IL; Cathy and Dennis Mouser of East Alton, IL. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kravanya Funeral Home (203 E Elm St, Gillespie, IL 62033). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
