Jesse Raleigh

Jesse Raleigh, 81, of Turner's Creek, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky. Born on January 12, 1945, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, he lived a life centered on family, hard work, and the simple pleasures that brought him contentment.

Jesse worked at a sheet metal factory in Newport, Kentucky. In his free time, he found great joy in playing with his special nephew, Cameron Tharp, relaxing at home, watching sports, and hunting. A man of quiet faith, he was a longtime member of Turner's Creek Church of Christ, where he drew spiritual strength and fellowship.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lizzie Raleigh; his parents, Green and Polly Raleigh; his brother, Jerry Raleigh; and his sister, Elsie Raleigh. Jesse is survived by his sisters, Betty (Mitchell) Turner, Ruth (Silas) Hall, Belle (Johnny) Raleigh, and Julie (Henry) Hall, along with his nephew Cameron Tharp, a host of nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends who will hold their memories of him dear.
