Jesse James "Jimmy" Gilbreath

Jesse James “Jimmy” Gilbreath was born on July 16, 1940, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Jim and Ardella Gilbreath. He passed away on March 10, 2026.

A longtime member of First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, Jimmy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life centered on his love for family and the Lord. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his funny stories, his deep love for the truth, and his passion for duck hunting and fishing. His favorite verse was Psalm 37:4: “Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Glenda Lois Gilbreath; two brothers, Wayne Gilbreath and Ronnie Gilbreath; and a grandson, Casey Brock.

Jimmy is survived by his three daughters, Jessica Gilbreath, DeAnn Whitfield (David), and Melissa Brock (Mike); his son, James Gilbreath; eight grandsons, two granddaughters, three great-grandsons, three brothers, and two sisters. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew and loved him.
