He was surrounded by his loving family.He is preceded in death by his grandfather Benito Martinez; father Jesse C. Salinas, II. Jesse is the son of Celia M. Castellano, mother, Leon C. Castellano, step-father, Debra Camacho, sister, Laura C. Lantz, sister and spouse Darren Lantz, and Leon C. Castellano, Jr, brother and partner Melinda Medrano, Ronnie Jason Talsma, son and his spouse Patricia Talsma, Justin Andrew Salinas, son and his spouse Leigh Salinas, Talsma grandchildren Ayden and his partner Victoria, Ethan, Aaron, Austin, Mason, and great-grandson Ronnie Talsma and was beloved by many nieces and nephews.He enjoyed watching his nephew perform improv comedy sports and watching each of the nieces and nephews play soccer, football, baseball, and softball from youth through high school games. He was always there to root for them!Jesse was dedicated and thoughtful in everything he did. He would take his mom and dad to breakfast on Sundays and he would call his mom on the way home from work. He had a great attitude in life and had a sense of humor that made you laugh out loud. Jesse was a reliable friend. He would touch base with friends for dinner or a tennis match on the weekend or pickleball after work. At his job, his boss said, "Jesse was our best worker, he was liked by everyone, always polite and respectful, he never complained, and he promptly responded to his clients that needed transportation to their medical appointments.Jesse enjoyed life and traveling with his sons and checking off his bucket list. He was a loving and devoted grandpa, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone.A visitation service for Jesse C. Salinas, III will be on March 13, 2026 at the Alamo Funeral Home, 624 N. Alamo St, San Antonio, TX 78215. A private family viewing service is from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Friends and family are welcome from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Please join us in his Celebration of Life Memorial Service from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
