Jerry Dewsnup ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Premier Funeral Services - Salt Lake City on Mar. 5, 2026.Jerry William Dewsnup beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away peacefully at his home in Sandy, Utah on March 2, 2026Jerry was born in Delta, Utah February 24,1937 to John Dewsnup and Bessie Mitchell Dewsnup. He married Deanna (Dee) Stark on Christmas Day of the year 1969.Jerry spent four years in the Air Force at Minot, North Dakota. He retired after 25years at Salt Lake International Airport as an Airport Operations Manager.He was an avid fisherman and spent many wonderful times on the Provo river and in the Uintahs with his wife.He is preceded in death by his father John Dewsnup, his mother Bessie Cates, Stepfather Ralph Cates and brother Merriel Dewsnup.Survived by his wife, Deanna, sons John Ramses, Paul Dewsnup, daughters Leslie Montaño, Pamela Johnson, grandchildren, great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Brother Lawrence (Alecia) Dewsnup. He was loved by everyone and will be missed dearly.We will be honoring Jerry's request to be cremated and there will be no funeral services at this time.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
