We bid farewell to Jerry Tinnin of East Prairie, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 6, 2026 at the age of 78. Jerry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amel Oscar Tinnin and Dorothy Mathews Tinnin; his grandson Tray Phelps; his sister Anna Tinnin; and his son-in-law Paul Patrick.

He is survived by: his children, Jerry C. Tinnin of Rockford, IL, Joey Wayne Tinnin of Rockford, IL, Kathy Leann Skelton (Jeff) of Sikeston, MO, Jessica Nicole West (Chris) of East Prairie and Suzette Nicole Edge (Walter) of Rockford, IL; his siblings, Joe Tinnin of Sikeston, MO, Ermine Workman of Sikeston, MO and Robin Stanley of Jackson, MO; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Phelps, Macie Nicole Patrick, Riley Patrick and Luke Patrick; and his mother-in-law Imogene Gore. He is also survived by seven great grandsons.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shelby Funeral Home (104 W Olive St, East Prairie, MO 63845). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
