Jerry Thompson

Jerry Thompson of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 84. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Gerald and Blanche Thompson (Steely); his wife, Elizabeth Boyd; his children, Jenean Thompson and Todd Thompson; his stepson, Gary Boyd; and his stepgrandson, Johnny Boyd.

He is survived by his son, Ty Thompson; his stepdaughter, Terri Caldwell; his stepdaughter-in-law, Karen Boyd; his grandchildren, Cheyann Goodman (Lantric Carter), Erick Thompson, and Aaron Thompson; his stepgrandchildren, Joshua (Melinda Caldwell), Amber (Chase Reed), and Austen (Jordan Boyd); his great-grandchild, Amani Carter; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ayden Reed, Logan Reed, Axel Boyd, Bently Caldwell, and Jasper Caldwell; his sister, Janice; his siblings-in-law, George Peterson, Verna and Bill Pettigrew; and his sibling’s children, George Peterson Jr. and Chanda Lane.

Jerry’s life was defined by the family he cherished and the quiet steadfastness he showed those closest to him. He leaves behind a large and loving family who will carry forward the memories of his presence in their lives.
