Jerry Lambert ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes and Lake Memorial Gardens - Osage Beach on Mar. 10, 2026.Jerry Rodger Lambert, 81, of Osage Beach, MO formerly of Ashland, MO passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.Jerry was born on June 17, 1944, in Oak Hill, West Virginia the son of John and Rebecca (White) Lambert who preceded him in death. He was married in 1965 to Virginia "Jenny" Cody who preceded him in death in 1999.After high school, he joined the US Army, serving from 1964 – 1970 during the Vietnam era, he then returned home and built a long and respected career. He retired in 1999 after 45 years of service as a Plant Supervisor from Westinghouse/ABB, where he was known for his leadership, work ethic, and dedication. After retirement, he moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, embracing the simple joys of life. He loved spending time outdoors golfing, boating, and fishing whenever he had the chance. Around the house and in the yard, he was a true handyman-a jack of all trades who could fix just about anything. He enjoyed "piddling," working in the yard, and always finding small projects to keep his hands busy.He was also a proud member of the Elks Lodge, where he valued the friendships and sense of community the organization provided.He was a devoted father, grandfather, partner and friend that has left behind a legacy of hard work, strength, and deep love that will continue to live on in all that knew him.Survivors include: significant other, Mary Roberts; two children, Mike Johnson (Cindy) and Wanda Johnson; Significant others children, Rachael Schmitz (Jake) and Becky Carter (Jamie); two brothers, Richard Lambert (Terri) and Samuel Lambert (Joyce); one sister, Karen Lively (Wayne); four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five- grandchildren of significant other and several nieces, nephews and friends.Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home, Osage Beach, MO. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Lyle Mankey officiating with full military honors.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
