Jerry Lynn Beason

Jerry Lynn Beason, age 68, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

He is survived by his sister-in-law and caregiver, Ketrina O’Kelly; his sister, Judy Bradshaw; his brother, William P. Beason; and his sister, Melissa “Missy” Burrell. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Crockett Beason and Mayme Ann Beason.

Jerry attended Hi Hope Center in Lawrenceville until he became ill. A longtime member of Norcross Baptist Tabernacle, he found great joy in gospel music and loved to preach whenever he had the opportunity. He cherished time spent with Ketrina and her family, whether going out to eat or attending church together. Jerry’s favorite day was always his birthday, which he cheerfully claimed was every day when asked. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and The Price Is Right, and he delighted in flipping through magazines to admire the pretty women. Those who knew him will remember him as a source of genuine joy and warmth.

He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
