Jerry Lee Marburger

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lee Marburger in Houston, Texas, who passed away on March 4, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jerry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Richard Marburger and Ella Wilhemenia Dorothy Gest; his wife Barbara; and his brother Robert Cecil Marburger. He is survived by: his son Tod Layne Marburger (Heather) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Robert Layne Marburger (Amber), Jackson Marburger and Avery Marburger of Dallas; his stepdaughter Shannon Foley; and his stepgrandson Eric Aguilar.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the La Hacienda Restaurant (1431 W 26th St, Houston, TX 77008).

Jerry never stood on formality but rather a good use of time and resources, in lieu of flowers or donations, please enjoy time with those you hold dear, raise a glass to Jerry as well as your own loved ones that have gone before us.
