He was predeceased by: his parents, Flavel Conner and Opal Conner (McCarty); and his cousin Russ Conner. He is survived by: his children, Jules Harris (Francis), Susan Steeb (Erik) and Steven Conner (Nicole); and his grandchildren, Caity Klawon (James), Conner Klawon, Carragan Klawon, Chloe Klawon (Andres), Abbey Conner and Caroline Klawon.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428).
