On March 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, Jerry peacefully transitioned from this world. Throughout his life, Jerry exuded an unending warmth that spread to all he encountered. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and a caring brother. He was known for his thoughtfulness, always considering the feelings and needs of others before his own.Jerry was a man of many talents and passions, but none shone brighter than his love for Corvettes. He had an impressive collection that included models from 1965, 1977, and 2001. His passion for these classic cars led him to become a long-time member of the Classic Glass Corvette Club in New Philadelphia, where he made countless lasting friendships. Jerry was not just a man of hobbies; he was a man of substance. He was a proud graduate of Kent State University and served his nation during the Vietnam era, earning him respect and admiration from all who knew him.Throughout his career, Jerry's creativity shone through in his work as an Industrial Engineer. He was a dedicated employee at The Gradall Company for 43 remarkable years, retiring from the Standards and Methods Department. His dedication and commitment to his profession were a testament to his character, embodying the values of hard work, integrity, and excellence. Despite his accomplishments, Jerry held a humble heart, always attributing his success to those around him.Jerry is survived by his wife, Kathy Heidenreich, to whom he was married since March 28, 1999. He leaves behind his son, Brian (Michelle) Heidenreich, his brothers, Robert (Laura) Heidenreich and Tom (Diana) Heidenreich. Jerry was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Brady and Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Heidenreich. Jerry's life was rich with relationships and filled with love. His memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate to know him.Military Honors and Inurnment will take place on Thursday, 19th Mar 2026 at 1:15pm at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio, 44273.
