He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Blacksten and Dora Blacksten (Lehman); his siblings, Emma Jean Blacksten, Martha Griffin, Irma Blacksten, James Blacksten, Bob Blacksten, Harry Blacksten and John Blacksten; and his wife Nancy Blacksten (Pence).
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Blacksten (Kelli) of Michigan City, IN and Keith Blacksten (Lisa) of Michigan City, IN; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jonathan, Kreg, Paige and Kory; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Stella, Yuri, Lukas, Sarah, Aiden, Flynn and Alexia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith City Assembly of God (1314 S Woodland Ave, Michigan City, IN 46360). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
