Jerry Allen Jones

Jerry Allen Jones of Morgantown, Kentucky, born in Butler, Kentucky, passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 73. He touched countless lives with his warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Chesley “Neut” Jones and Mable May Gray Jones; his son-in-law, Dwayne Peay; his siblings, James Earl Jones, Wendell Ray Jones, and Sharon Sue Jones; his parents-in-law, Emmitt and Jo Dean Cox; and his siblings’ children, Bonnie Burden, Steven Cardwell, Garlon Casey Cox, and Ronald Ray Jones.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Patricia Cox Jones of Morgantown, Kentucky; his children, Angela Peay of Morgantown, Kentucky, Brad Jones (Gaylene) of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Todd Jones (Jennifer) of Evansville, Indiana; his grandchildren, AnaLeigh Faith Peay, Brittany Nicole Durham, Courtney Parrish, Easton Henderson, Addison Jones, all of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Lucy Davis of Evansville, Indiana; his great-grandchildren, Brantlee Dockery, Brayden Dockery, Bryson Jones, Bryar White, Brenner Parrish, and Arlee Mae Parrish, all of Morgantown, Kentucky; his siblings, Faye Jones Cardwell of Morgantown, Kentucky, Harold Wayne Jones (Kim) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Melinda Jones (Mark) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Cardwell (Mark), Ronnie Cox (Bobbie), and Donnie Cox (Shelia), all of Morgantown, Kentucky.
