Jerome "Jerry" Lynch

Jerome Lynch, aged 65, passed away suddenly on March 9, 2026, in the arms of his loving wife, JoAnne, surrounded by nature. Born on August 11, 1960, he grew up on Naamans Road in Wilmington, Delaware, with his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Lynch, and his eight siblings. He graduated from Concord High School in 1978 and built a career in engineering, construction, and design.

Jerome, affectionately known as Jerry, married JoAnne Zeroka on October 28, 1989. Together they raised three children: Madeline, Charlotte, and Colin. He is survived by his wife JoAnne Lynch (Zeroka), his children, his siblings Jay, Christopher (DeAnn), Elizabeth (Kevin), MaryKay (Gary), Jody (Elizabeth), Margie (Ron), Robert (Kathleen), his twin brother Jeffrey, and his father-in-law Mike Zeroka.

Jerry spent much of his life traveling across the country and internationally, hiking, biking, and paddling. He possessed a deep curiosity about people and loved listening to their life stories, yet he treasured time with his family above all else. He enjoyed gathering with family and friends, listening to bluegrass music, and savoring Belgian beer.
