He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Dorkin; and his wife Barbara Giniger. He is survived by: his significant other Diana Katz; his daughters, Joy Giniger-Figarsky (Jay Lazerowitz) and Sherri Walter (Bill); his grandchildren, Josh, Alex (Marisa), Emma, Wren and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Norma Joy and Rosie; and his siblings, Ronald Dorkin (Ruth) and Re Dorkin.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Star of David of the Palm Beaches (9321 Memorial Park Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412). A committal service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
