Jeremy Andrew Bailey Rugg, age 52, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on March 5, 2026. Born on November 3, 1973, in Everett, Washington, Jeremy lived a life marked by honesty, love, and a genuine kindness that touched everyone around him. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who found his deepest joy in the people he loved.

Those who knew him described him as someone who lived fully in the moment, embracing life with warmth and authenticity. He possessed an honest heart and a generous spirit that made others feel truly seen and valued. Jeremy enjoyed fishing, though he was the first to admit he wasn’t very good at it; for him, the time spent outdoors mattered far more than the catch. He also loved playing Ingress and sharing video games with his children, creating memories his family will treasure. As a grandfather to three beloved grandchildren, he brought that same joyful presence to every moment they shared.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Angela Summers; his parents, Mike and Mary Rugg; his sisters, Jennifer Rugg and Jolene Rugg; his sons, Dakota Summers, Shawn Woodle, and JC Sponseller; his daughters, Demeri Summers-Stacy and Haley Sponseller; and his three grandchildren.

He lived by his own principles, believing that promises were often broken and guarantees rarely fulfilled. Instead, he made his word his bond. His family will remember him as a man who lived exactly as he believed—with honesty, with love, and fully in the moment.
