It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeremy Alan Plotkin of Cary, North Carolina, born in Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Jeremy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Dacey Plotkin. He is survived by: his children, Zachary Plotkin of Garner, NC, Alex Plotkin and Sandra Plotkin of Coventry, RI; his sister Amanda C. Plotkin; and his father Richard A. Plotkin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (42 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096).
