June 3, 1964— March 11, 2026
McPherson, KS
Jeraldine “Jerri” Mackey, 61, went home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, peacefully at home on March 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 3, 1964, in McPherson, Kansas, the daughter of John LeRay and Patricia (Martinson) Johnson.
Jerri dedicated her life to quiet, compassionate service. She was a devoted wife and mother who created a warm home that was a sanctuary for her family. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and often sang solos at church and weddings. She was also a caregiver to seniors everywhere she went. Her compassionate work was formally recognized when she received an award from the Town of Pound Ridge, New York, during the years the family lived there.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Mackey; her children, Allison Flood and her husband Dillon, Austin Mackey and his wife Maggie; her cherished grandsons, Rowan Flood and Lennox Flood; and her older siblings, Jackie Phillips and Jeff Johnson.
Jerri’s passionate spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her “Celebration of Life” will be held at New Gottland Covenant Church (rural McPherson) at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 21st, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jerri’s memory to “Turning Point with Dr. David Jeremiah" or “Focus on The Family” in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut St., McPherson, KS 67460.
While we mourn her absence, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is fully healed in Heaven.
