Jerald Wayne "Jerry" Jester

Jerald “Jerry” Wayne Jester, 68, of Salem, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, Wisconsin. Born on February 21, 1958, in Burlington, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late James and June (née Owen) Jester. A lifelong resident of the area, Jerry worked for more than thirty years in production at Beauti-Vue Products in Bristol, Wisconsin, before retiring in 2015. He was a longtime member of Community Baptist Church in Silver Lake and found quiet joy in reading, gardening, tending his yard, fishing, and raising rabbits. Above all, he cherished living life and spending time with his family.

On June 12, 1981, Jerry married Elizabeth “Jane” Williams in Portsmouth, Virginia. Their nearly forty-five-year marriage was a central part of his life. He is survived by his wife Jane; their two sons, James (Michelle) Jester of Racine, Wisconsin, and John Jester of Waterford, Wisconsin; his sisters, Joyce Jester of Burlington, Wisconsin, and Jennifer (Greg) Helder of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica E. Jester, on March 7, 2017, as well as his parents.

Jerry will be remembered for his steady, gentle presence and the simple pleasures he shared with those he loved.
