Jennifer Lynn Walker

Jennifer Lynn Walker, 47, of New Castle, passed away surrounded by her family on March 5, 2026. Born in New Castle on January 25, 1979, to Joseph and Cynthia Walker (Sexton), she graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 1998 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in office management from Indiana Business College in 2003, where she was named to the dean’s list.

A devoted mother, Jennifer welcomed her daughter, Faith, fourteen years ago—a blessing she once believed she might never receive. She chose her daughter’s name as a reflection of the faith in God that had sustained her throughout life. Jennifer was known for her strength and resilience, her bright sense of humor that could light up a room, and her gift for storytelling that held the attention of everyone around her. Caring and selfless, she poured love into everything she did, whether sewing, crafting, gardening, enjoying the outdoors, cooking, or sharing her deep love of music from every genre.

She is survived by her daughter, Faith Lynn Walker; her mother, Cynthia Sexton; her father, Joe (Robin) Walker; her brother, Michael (Stacie) Ridenour; her nieces, Alyssa Flowers, Grace Sexton, and Robbie Ann Sexton; her nephew, Aiden Flowers; her maternal grandparents, Bob and Ruby Sexton; her aunt, Anita (Mike) Dalton; her uncles, Larry Sexton and Rob (Andrea) Sexton; her special aunt, Michelle Davis; seven out-of-state siblings; her special friend and companion, Scott Reynolds; and many cousins, extended family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Fred and Charlotte Walker; her uncle, Mike Walker; her cousin, John Dalton; and her beloved dog, Shyla.
