Bowling Green, KY
Jennifer Jones, 49, of Bowling Green, passed away on March 17, 2026, at Vanderbilt, surrounded by her loving family.
Jennifer was a proud graduate of Warren East High School, Class of 1994. She dedicated more than 30 years to the Nursing field, where caring for others was not just her career but her calling. Her compassion reached far beyond her work, she fostered children, supported friends and co-workers, and extended kindness to anyone in need. Jennifer was the sunshine in every room, always putting others before herself and offering warmth, humor, and generosity wherever she went.
She was a devoted wife of 22 years to Wallace Jones and a loving mother to Sparky Jones. Jennifer was the cherished daughter of Mary Hazel Watt and the late Larry Watt. She is survived by her siblings: Monica Ross (Dusty), Brittany Gray (Izzy) and Tyler Hagan (Andrea). She was “Aunt Jen Jen” to Addison Ross, Katilyn Ross, Jackson Gray, Ace Gray, Margo Gray, Abi Gray, Knox Hagan, and soon to arrive baby Memphis Hagan- each of whom she adored.
The funeral service will be at 12 noon on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. and again on Friday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Burial will follow at Archie Newman Cemetery in Riverside.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Archie Newman Cemetery Fund, c/o Terry Young, 786 Benleo Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101
