Her caring soul extended to her mother, Theresa Turner, her stepfather Terry Turner, her father Roderick Du Lac, and her stepmother Rhonda Du Lac. Her playful spirit and enduring support were a cornerstone in the lives of her sister, Cassie Du Lac (Darrin Vogel), and brother, Miles Du Lac (Christina Du Lac), her loving nephew Logan Du Lac and nieces Mya Du Lac and Maddie Du Lac; step siblings Carissa Pollard (Aaron), Travis Turner (Sarah) and Taylor Turner. Jennifer also held a special place in the hearts of her grandmother Charlene Du Lac, Grandfather David Flanagan, and Grandmother Selena Richardson, Grandparents Bill and Maureen Turner.Jennifer was the embodiment of love and friendliness. She was a people person through and through; she not only cherished her time spent with her beloved children and family members but also embraced the company of new acquaintances with open arms, living by her conviction that she never met a stranger. The great outdoors called to Jennifer's adventurous spirit whenever the weather permitted, urging her to step outside and breathe in the tranquility of nature.Though she often joked about her culinary misadventures, Jennifer's love of good Mexican food and the sheer pleasure of savoring it with those dear to her more than made up for her lack of cooking prowess. The bond she shared with her sister Cassie was a source of infinite comfort and joy, as they journeyed through most of life's trials and triumphs side by side.Jennifer's story is not one of loss but of a life filled with precious moments and she will be remembered with fondness and love by all who had the privilege to know her.She was preceded in death by her grandparents Karen Flanagan, Lyle Du Lac and George Bressman. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday March 13, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Second Harvest Food Bank or Children's Mercy Hospital.
