Jennifer Ann "Jen" Pralle

Jennifer Ann Pralle, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on January 4, 1968, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Jennifer lived a life rooted in faith, love, and quiet strength. A graduate of Sheboygan Lutheran High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree at Concordia University in Nebraska, where she met her husband, Joel. Their marriage of 33 years was marked by deep affection and shared joy. She later completed her Master’s degree in 2019.

In 1995, Jennifer and Joel moved to Rochester, Minnesota, where she devoted her career to teaching English and reading. She touched the lives of countless students at Rochester Central Lutheran School, Friedell Middle School, and Dakota Middle School, continuing her work until January 20, 2026. For six years she faced breast cancer with remarkable courage, sustained by her steadfast trust in Jesus and her belief that every challenge was met with faith, hope, and purpose.

Jennifer found great happiness in simple pleasures—fishing, gardening, card games, shopping, and traveling to be near family. She especially cherished time spent at the family cottage on Enterprise Lake and the laughter of her children and grandchildren. Her warm spirit and genuine care left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Fenske, and her grandparents. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Joel; her children, Jacob (Morgan) Pralle and Madyson (Adam) Pinn; her granddaughters, Eliza and Parker; her mother, Sandra Fenske; her in-laws, Leroy and Paula Pralle; her sisters, Stefanie Willard, Susan (David) Ferguson, and Kathryn (Joel) Pape; her brothers-in-law, Eric (Elizabeth) Pralle and Sean (Quinelle) Pralle; and many nieces and nephews.
