Jenevieve Jackson, 93, went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Akron, she graduated from Suffield High School. Jenny was employed at Primeline Industries and was a member of Evangel Church in Columbus, GA. She enjoyed playing Skipbo and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Jackson; parents, WIlliam and Mabel Snyder; brothers, Robert Snyder, Willard Snyder, Harold Snyder, Ed Snyder (Nadine), Larry Snyder; sister, Louise Bauer Walker; brother-in-law, Charles Lemon. She is survived by her son, Rocco Jackson (Corrina); daughter, Lynn Jackson Janney (Durward); grandchildren, Kayla Jackson, Brittni Marley, Joshua Janney, Jennifer Kempisty, Caleb Janney, Jason Janney, Dexter Janney; great grandchildren, Damon Davis, Dominic Marley, Roman Marley, Tucker Janney, Reagan Janney, Griffin Wade, Ava Wade, Olivia Hammock, Everett Janney, Shiloh Janney, Wren Janney, Samantha Janney; brother, Frank Snyder (Marilyn); sister, Hazel Lemon; sisters-in-law, Rita Snyder and Jackie Snyder.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, March 18th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 19th at 11:00 am with an hour of visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
