Jeffrey S. Honkus

Jeffrey S. Honkus, 62, of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 6, 2026. Born on November 9, 1963, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Luana Honkus and the late Stanley Honkus. Raised in Hopewell Township, Jeff graduated from Hopewell High School in 1981 and earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987. He worked as a pharmacist for many years, a career that reflected his lifelong desire to help others.

Jeff was a hardworking, fun-loving, and generous man whose vibrant personality could fill any room. He had a natural gift for connecting with people and was well known for creating affectionate nicknames for nearly everyone he spent time with throughout his life.

He is survived by his mother, Luana Honkus; his siblings, Mark Honkus, Beth (Keith) Wamsley, and Greg (Jen) Honkus; and his nephews and nieces, Stephen Honkus, Matthew Honkus, David Honkus, Kailin Wamsley, Grace Honkus, and Jackson Honkus. Jeff also shared 28 years with Jennifer Marcin. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
