Jeffrey Horn ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home on Mar. 5, 2026.Jeffrey Richard Horn, age 62, of Henderson, KY, passed away suddenly on February 24, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.Jeff was a Henderson County High School graduate and attended Henderson Community College. He was an over-the-road truck driver for over 41 years and was currently employed by Blue Star Trucking. He had previously worked for the City of Henderson as well as the Henderson County Water Department. In his younger years, Jeff was an avid hunter. He was member of The Center Church formerly known as Christ Corner Church. He was a member of the N.R.A and the I.O.O.D.A. Jeff was a UK basketball fan as well.Jeff was preceded in death by his father John Horn, paternal grandparents Luther and Josie Bell "Ellison" Horn, maternal grandparents Owen and Annie "Granny" Brown, his two sons Stephen Horn and Jeffrey Nelson, as well as several aunts and uncles.Jeff is survived by his wife of 31 plus years Nancy Horn of Henderson, KY; mother Mary Ruth Horn of Henderson, KY; brother Jason Horn of Henderson, KY; 6 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jeff is also survived by many over the road trucker friends that he met along the way.Relatives and friends are invited to Jeff's Life Celebration from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Reverend Allen Butler and Reverend Phil Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY.Pallbearers will be Tommy Newman, Steve Buckman, Charlie Buckman, Allen Butler, Glenn Brown, and Bruce Brown.
