Jeffrey Michael "Jeff" Brant

Jeffrey Michael “Jeff” Brant, age 56 of Troy, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born on September 14, 1969 in Troy to John and Linda (Pittenger) Brant, Jeff grew up in the community that would remain his lifelong home.

A 1987 graduate of Troy High School, Jeff enlisted in the United States Navy immediately after graduation and served with dedication until 2002. He was a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoyed following his favorite team throughout his life. Preceded in death by his father, John, in 2008, Jeff is remembered for his steadfast spirit and the quiet strength he showed his family.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Brant of Troy; his daughters, Krystal, Janessa, Izzabella, Angelina, Maykala, and Natasha; and his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Teri Brant of Sidney.
