Jeffery Mazowieski, a beloved husband, father, papa, brother, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 68. He lived a life defined by service, love, and unwavering dedication to his country, family, and friends.
As a senior master sergeant in the United States Air Force, Jeffery served his country with distinction for 24 years. His commitment to duty and natural leadership earned him deep respect from those who served alongside him. After retiring from the military, he embraced life with renewed energy, devoting himself fully to the people and passions that brought him joy.
Jeffery found great pleasure in fishing, which offered him peaceful time in nature and opportunities to create lasting memories with his family. He was a devoted baseball fan who loved sharing the game with others. Above all, he cherished his role as papa, delighting in the company of his grandchildren and encouraging them in every way.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Mazowieski; sons Chris (Leslie) Mazowieski and James (Katie) Mazowieski; daughter Amy (Mike) Hicks; granddaughter Cambrie Murphy; and grandsons Brewer, Mack, and Cal Mazowieski. He also leaves behind his siblings Cathy (John) Newman, Bill (Jan) Mazowieski, Jay (Cindy) Mazowieski, Kari Mazowieski, and Krissie Mazowieski, brother-in-law Jimmy Wigglesworth, cousins Patti Asdahl and Hazel Wilkins, and many cherished nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends including Barb, Willie and Smokey Hale, Brian, Kaitlyn, and Luna Doser, Shane Jepsen, Carlos Correa, and Pink. Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys Mazowieski, his mother-in-law Betty Wigglesworth, and his nephew Zachary Walker.
