Jeffery M. Brickus, Sr.

Coatesville, PA

Jeffery M. Brickus, Sr., 67, of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at his home. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Ernest Brickus, Sr., and Edith Hines Brickus.

Jeff was a devoted husband to Shari Lynn (Baker) Brickus, sharing 43 years of marriage. A graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School, class of 1976, he built his career in the air conditioning and heating industry, specializing in HVAC. Beyond his work, he found deep enjoyment in riding his cherished red Goldwing motorcycle, listening to the nostalgic sounds of oldies music, and continuing the ritual of burning CDs filled with his favorite songs. An avid shopper, he took particular delight in seeking out fine cheeses at CowTown and savoring “flat wings.” Known for his straightforward nature and direct approach to life, Jeff earned the respect of many and served as a mentor to young people, offering guidance and wisdom. Above all, he cherished his family and took great pride and joy in spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shari L. Brickus of Coatesville; his sons, Jeffery Brickus Jr. (Jessica) of Harleysville, Tyree J. Brickus Sr. (Rena) of King of Prussia, and Lamar A. Brickus (Erika) of Coatesville; his grandchildren, Jaeden, McKenna, Greyson, Tyree Jr., Tai’lea, Tymar, Tailynn, Clarence, Christian, and Tatyanah; his siblings, Bruce Brickus of Manhattan, New York, TerriLyn Brickus, Larry “Muscles” Brickus (VanDora), and Marty Majors, all of Coatesville; and his brothers-in-law, Herbert Baker (Linda), Mark Baker (Chanelle), and Trent Baker (Jennifer), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest “Poochie” Brickus, Jr.

Jeff will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will remain a source of inspiration for his family and friends.
