Jeffery Jermaine Siplin

Jeffery Jermaine Siplin, affectionately known as “Jake” or “JJ,” was born on August 13, 1974, to Carol Turner and Jeffery Siplin. A lifelong resident of Madison, Florida, he was a much-loved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and special friend who touched everyone in his own unique way. He cherished his family, valued his friendships, and held a deep appreciation for life itself.

Earlier in life, Jeffery made a personal confession of his belief in Jesus Christ and was baptized by faith. He graduated in 1993 from Madison County High School after attending the Madison County Public School District. He began his career in food services at Ken’s Bar-B-Q, where he became known as the ultimate grill master whose culinary skills kept customers returning until the business closed. He later worked at Pilgrim’s Pride.

Jeffery was a dedicated worker who also made time for the things that brought him joy. He found peace fishing at his favorite pond or on the water. He loved creating lively moments with family and friends, challenging others to chess matches, playing video games, listening to music, dancing, and watching speedway car races. Though he had no biological children, he served as a loving father figure and coach to many young people in his neighborhood and community, offering guidance and support whenever he could.

As his health declined, Jeffery remained focused on his faith and the hope ahead. On March 6, 2026, he passed from this life, transitioning in a moment to receive his eternal reward. He will be remembered for his laughter that could light up a room, his faithfulness that inspired others, and his good-natured personality that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, sisters, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, great-aunt, faithful bonus brothers, special friends, and many other loving relatives, schoolmates, and friends.
