Jeffery Padgett ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Brell & Son Funeral Home - Maysville on Feb. 24, 2026.Jeffrey Clay Padgett, 65, of Maysville, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb 23, 2026, at his home.He was born Dec 24, 1960, a son of the late Marlin Lee Padgett and Patricia Ann Fox.Jeff worked as a Fabricator with EnerFab out of Cincinnati for 22 years alongside his brothers. They all loved traveling together.He served in the US Army from 1978-1981.He loved life and had a heart of gold. He would do anything for anyone who asked. His favorite sport was playing golf and watching NASCAR.In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Shayla Perez; brothers Terry Lennex, Mark Padgett Sr, and Christopher Padgett.Jeff was survived by his daughters Amber Morton (Jared) of Deridder, Louisiana, Shana Padgett (Dewayne) and their son Marlin Padgett (Stacy) both of Aberdeen, Ohio; a sister, Sheryl Padgett Smith (Jimmy) of Brooksville, Kentucky; six grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter. Also survived by Aunts Ellen Applegate, Alma Mattox, and Paulette Henderson; several nieces and nephews and lots of cousins.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to offset the cost of expenses.A celebration of life will take place on April 11, 2026, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Orangeburg Fire Department/ Community Center.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
