Jeffery Carlton McCray, 63, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2026, in Griffin, Georgia. Born on March 8, 1963, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Bobby McCray and the late Jacqulin (Carroll) Shiver, Jeff was a lifelong resident of Warner Robins. He graduated from Northside High School and later became the owner and operator of SNG Services, where his hard work, dedication, and commitment to his community were well known.
Jeff possessed a creative and easygoing spirit that touched everyone around him. He found joy in reading and creative writing, watching classic films, and maintaining an active lifestyle through regular workouts at the gym. A devoted supporter of the Northside High School Eagles, he treasured time spent with family and friends. He will be remembered fondly for hosting backyard gatherings, grilling out, sharing stories, and relaxing with a cold beer and a cigar.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Shiver; stepmother, Jackie Floyd; maternal grandparents, Maggie Beck and Fraser Brackie; and paternal grandparents, Linder and Almedia Floyd.
He is survived by his son, Nik McCray, and Nik’s fiancée, Hannah Maloney; stepfather W.G. Floyd; siblings Michele Berglof, Alyson O’Brien (Tim), Jeromy Floyd, Rob Shiver (Stephanie), Monica Johnson, Melissa Parr, Mike Montgomery (Stephanie), and Mike Parnell; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him deeply.
