Jeff E. Palmer

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeff E. Palmer of Spencer, Nebraska, who passed away on February 27, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Paul Palmer; his sons, Robert Palmer and Donald Palmer; his siblings, James Palmer Sr., Kevin Palmer, John Palmer, Bryan Palmer and Debra Kroll (Brent); and his nephew Cory Theeler.

He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Palmer (Kirkpatrick) of Smithland, IA; his daughters, Jill Palmer of St. Louis, MO and Lisa Hunsche (Mike) of Fort Wayne, IN; and his siblings, Curt Palmer (Vicky) of Whiting, IA, Kris Barge (Fred) of Whiting, IA and Carla Palmer of Schleswig, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Armstrong - Van Houten Funeral Home - Mapleton (210 S 5th St, Mapleton, IA 51034).
