Jeannette Chahine, age 72, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at her home in Weymouth, surrounded by the love of her devoted family. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Jeannette lived a life marked by resilience, compassion, and the deep bonds of family.

Raised and educated in Lebanon, she carried a profound appreciation for her cultural heritage. In 2003, she immigrated to the United States with a spirit of hope and adventure, settling in Weymouth in 2011 and bringing with her the warmth and traditions of her Lebanese roots.

Jeannette was the beloved wife of the late Chahine E. Chahine, sharing with him a partnership rooted in love and mutual respect. She was a devoted mother to her children, Sophia Chahine of Lebanon, Elias Chahine, and Tony Chahine, both of Weymouth. She was a cherished sister to Tony Kehdy and Antoinette Sallaom, both of Lebanon. As a grandmother, she took immense pride and joy in her grandchildren, Goe and Jane Nader, Jeanette, Shaheen, Elias, and Eliana Chahine, delighting in every moment spent showering them with love.

A homemaker by vocation, Jeannette was a pillar of strength and wisdom for her family and friends. She created a sanctuary of care and generosity, finding her greatest happiness in the simple joys of family gatherings. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, unwavering faith, and the enduring importance of family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered through the stories, laughter, and love she so freely shared.
