Jeannette F. (Lapointe) Iwanski

Jeannette F. (Lapointe) Iwanski, 92, of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Alfred C. Iwanski.

Born on December 15, 1933, in Fall River, Jeannette was the daughter of Herman Lapointe Sr. and Odila (Labrie) Lapointe. She devoted herself fully to the roles of mother and homemaker while raising her four daughters. A woman of deep and enduring faith, she found simple joys in solving word search puzzles, sitting by the water, watching beautiful sunsets, and sharing meals with friends.

Jeannette is survived by her daughters, Anne Marie Bouchard, Lisa Levasseur and her husband Richard, Stacey Iwanski, and Mary Patricia Iwanski; her grandchildren, Riley Bouchard and his wife Shannon, Allison Bouchard, and Abigail Naylor; and her great-grandsons, Brayden and Mason Bouchard. She also leaves her sisters, M. Helene Lapointe and Sr. Marie William Lapointe, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Paul Lapointe, Herman Lapointe Jr., and Therese Lussier.
