In the vast expanse of eternity, Jeanette shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jeanette farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Chris Markes; and her children, Sheila and Tino.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dougherty Funeral Home (600 E 2nd St, Duluth, MN 55805). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
