Jean Smith

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Smith (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Smith and Edna Emily Ray Smith; her sisters, June Smith Renfro and Kate Smith Welch; and her nephew William David Renfro, Sr..

She is survived by: her nephew Dennis Ray Renfro (Joyce); her great-nephew William Robert Renfro (Shannon); her great-niece Michele Lee Renfro (Peter); David Renfro, Jr. and Cameron Murray. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pritchard Church (1117 South Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203).
