Jean Marie Summerville

Jean Marie Summerville, 88, of Texas City, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on May 28, 1937, to Nellie and Anthony Rigazio, Jean lived a life deeply rooted in faith and community. A longtime member of St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, she was also actively involved in the Lions Club, Twins Club, and Jaycettes. She cherished traveling the world and remained a constant source of encouragement to her loved ones, often reminding them to live their dreams.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Leslie “Les” L. Summerville Jr.; and her sister, Betty Hayes.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Debbie DuBois (Aaron); sons, Kenneth Summerville, Robert Summerville, and Richard Summerville; five grandchildren, Lauren DuBois (Joe), Stephanie DuBois, Christopher Summerville (Santia), Tiffany Summerville, and Ashley Summerville; niece, Linda Manning; nephew, Ronald Hayes; sister-in-law, Joan Wright; and special friends, Ginny Henderson and Theo Henderson. She was the love and light of her family, who will carry her memory with them until the end of time.
