Born and raised in Paterson, Jean had been a resident of Wyckoff since 1961. She worked as a beautician and was a member of Bethany Church in Wyckoff. Jean was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, was a founding member of Wyckoff Moms Club and a member of the North Jersey Country Club for many years with her husband William.Jean Bavagnoli was the beloved wife of the late William A. Bavagnoli (2015). Loving mother of William Bavagnoli and his wife Sue of Wyckoff, Robert Bavagnoli and his wife Tara of Franklin Lakes and the late Ronald Bavagnoli (2017). Dear grandmother of Gina Johnson and her husband Austin, Billy Bavagnoli and his wife Erika, David Bavagnoli, Devyn Westrick and her husband Matt, Julia Bavagnoli, Matthew Bavagnoli, Ronnie Bavagnoli, Jill Bavagnoli and Edward Ryan. Dearest great-grandmother of Emma, Madelyn, Boaz and Collin. Jean was preceded in death by her siblings Raymond, George, Aurelio, and Florence.A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne. Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
