Jean Marie Greaney, née Talbot, was born on January 3, 1937, in Amesbury, Massachusetts, and passed away on March 12, 2026, in Tampa, Florida. She was the beloved mother of Jeanee Bourque and her partner Keith Bates, Robert Greaney, Jr., Ronald Greaney, Michael Greaney, and Christine Kohl and her partner Donna Tremblay. Jean was a proud grandmother to Adam Bourque, Debra Loranger and her husband Keith, Melanie Wilson and her husband Ryan, Matthew Greaney, Richard Greaney, Brittany Bergman and her husband Harris, Andrew Kohl and his wife Rachel, and Aysel Tremblay, and a cherished great-grandmother to fourteen great-grandchildren.

A graduate of Midlands Technical College, Jean devoted her early years to raising her family as a stay-at-home mother before working as a secretary for the City of Rochester, New Hampshire Planning Board. She possessed a vibrant and creative spirit, finding joy in singing, dancing, and performing in plays. She expressed her artistic side through painting, tended beautiful gardens with care, and nurtured flowers with the same warmth she showed to everyone around her. Her playful sense of fun and gentle presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
