Jean I. Sheeler

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean I. Sheeler (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Hand and Ada Hand (Reber). She is survived by: her husband Gary A. Sheeler; her son Rustin G. Sheeler (Lynlee A.); her grandson Kolton Z. Sheeler; and her brother Donald Hand. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home (2100 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17110). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean's honor to the Humane Society of Harrisburg or to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.
