Jean Gaston

Jean (Stewart) Gaston, age 85 of Buford, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026. A homemaker and bookkeeper, Jean was a longtime member of Canon Church of God in Canon, Georgia. She shared 48 years of marriage with her husband, Jay Cabot Gaston, who preceded her in death in 2020.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jane Henry, and her parents, Beaulah (Etheridge) and William Stewart Sr. Jean is survived by her children, Mark Gaston, Nancy (Randy) Hall, Tricia Feagin, and Danny (Diane) Stewart; her grandchildren, Dana Stewart, Bryant Hall, Grace Feagin, and Lillie Feagin; her great-grandchild, Briana Freeman; and her siblings, Billy (Carol) Stewart, Charles (Shirley) Stewart, and Joan (Cecil) Carpenter.

Jean lived a quiet, steady life centered on family and faith, leaving behind a legacy of love remembered by those who knew her best.
