Visitation will be from 12-1 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Gerald Hurley will be officiating.Pallbearers will be Richard Hovas, Bill Davidson, John Bubba Hinkle, Billy Tubertini. Honorary Pallbearers will be Greg Marshall, Gus Correro, and Henry Buster Mascagni.Jay was born to Jasper & Marie Gamberini in Greenville, MS on May 9, 1957. Jay was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elks Club, and The Italian Club. Jay or Jay Bird as he was known to many of his friends was employed with Hovas Construction until his retirement in 2025. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all playing cards(Gin) with his son, Joseph.He was preceded in death by his father, Jasper Gamberini, and nephew Walker Greenlee.He was survived by his mother, Marie Gamberini of Greenville, MS, his son, Joseph Gamberini, and 4 siblings; his sisters, Suzi Gamberini Hughes, Sandra Greenlee(Vernon), Kristina Gamberini, and his brother, Joey Gamberini.Donations may be sent to Washington School 1605 E.
