He was loyal to his family and friends and valued the relationships he built over the years.Jason worked at Bristol's for more than 20 years, where he built lasting friendships and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.One of Jason's greatest joys was caring for his fish. He was very proud of them and spent many hours making sure they were well cared for, often sharing that passion with others.Jason worked hard to build a better path in life, and his family was deeply proud of the growth and strength he showed.He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Janet Thomas.Jason is survived by his children Elainae Thomas, Jason Thomas Jr., Elijah Manning, Jadae Thomas, Tristan Wilson, Naomi Johnson, McKenzie West, and Triasia Osbourne. He is also survived by his siblings John Thomas IV (Mary Lynn), Judith Conway (Sam), Jacqueline Wilkerson (David), and Jodie Floyd (Mike), along with his companion Tawny Hicks, who supported him and stood faithfully by his side. He leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m., at Ratterman Southwest Funeral Home, 4832 Cane Run Road.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shirley's Way and Aprons IncTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
