Jason Phillip Morgan Price, known affectionately as Uncle Daddy, was born on November 18, 1975, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, in the arms of his wife, Cheri.

He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Morgan Price III, his mother, Linda Neilsen, his father, Phillip Price, his brother, Phillip Price II, and his cousins, Nick Neilson, Shannon Kangas, and Brett Kangas.

Jason is survived by his wife, Cheri Price; his children, Jacob (Trea) Price, Naomi and Rylan Price-Larson, “Pookie,” and Leviticus Simmons; his daughter-in-law, Hannah Price; and his siblings, Sherry Herrington-Lakewood of Colorado, Jim and Samantha Price-Nowata of Oklahoma, Marrissia and Daniel Ford-Jackson of Cape Coral, Florida, Dawn and Bruce Cooley of Greenville, Michigan, Angel Price-Mead of Colorado, Cindy and Tom Cook of Allegan, Michigan, Michaelle Ambute of Westminster, Colorado, Jason Ambute of Florida, Scott Ambute of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Justin Chermak of Longmont, Colorado, David Gunnick of Cedar Springs, Michigan, Sabrina Wood-Firestone of Colorado, Gerald S. of Detroit, and many nieces and nephews.

Jason had a way of making a lasting impression on everyone he met, whether he was helping with a project, cooking a meal, or making up a bed so someone could rest. He made people feel seen, heard, and loved. He loved fiercely and without reservation, openly sharing his faith in Jesus. A steadfast presence through life’s storms, he cherished his roles as father and uncle and poured his whole heart into his family. He fought hard to remain with those he loved, breaking generational curses and rising above every challenge. Jason was the person anyone could call at 3 a.m.

Talented in carpentry, cooking, electrical work, and storytelling, he will be deeply missed. His generosity and love will continue to live on in all those whose lives he touched.
