Jason M. Lundgren
July 9, 1964— February 17, 2026
St James, NY
We celebrate the life of Jason Matthew Lundgren, born July 9, 1964 and entered into glory on February 17, 2026. For 61 years this kind, gentle, and patient man thoughtfully considered others, and served in any way within his capacity to help them. Jason values relationships and was loyal to friends and extended family across great distances for decades. His empathy, sympathy, and generosity towards those he loves drove him to do things that would seem unreasonable to most. Jason‘s love for Jesus Christ and the gospel compelled him to share that love, not only in word, but in practice, with friends, family, acquaintances and strangers. In the last period of Jason’s life, when he embraced the emotional, cognitive and physical struggles of Huntington’s disease and then the paralysis from spinal cord injury, his character and kind words shone the love of Jesus to family, friends, clinicians, and caregivers. The time Jason spent among us brought the most important aspect of the Kingdom of Heaven into the Earth, which is Love, as described in 1 Corinthians Chapter 13. He’s now with Jesus, his father Bob, and his mother Olga. He is survived by his sister Laura Meyer and her family, and brothers Robert and Dean and their families.
