Jason James Bailey

Jason James Bailey, 39, of Danville, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born on August 16, 1986, in Plainfield, New Jersey, he was the son of Colleen Rose and James Patrick Bailey.

Jason attended Northhampton Senior High School in Pennsylvania. He was a gifted writer who authored the book “Commstarr and the Time Keepers.” He found joy in playing the guitar and keyboard, spending time in nature and the outdoors, and studying history. He cherished simple pleasures such as chocolate ice cream and, most of all, the time he spent with his nephews.

He is survived by his parents, Colleen (Mike) Rose of Danville and James Bailey (Teresa Pettit) of Winchester; his sister, Amanda Bailey of Nicholasville; his nephews, Rylan and Kyler Watt; and his grandparents, Kathleen and Curtis Tindall and Debra Carlino, all of Pennsylvania. Jason was also deeply loved by many aunts, uncles, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Esther Castle, Denny Hobe Abbott, Charles Reed Bailey, and Frank Carlino.
