Jason Granville Rice

Jason Granville Rice, born July 29, 1972, in Cleburne, Texas, passed away on February 22, 2026. He was born to Larry and Nancy Rice and spent most of his life in Fort Worth, Texas.

Jason dedicated more than 30 years to a career in nursing, primarily in long-term care. Caring for others was not just his profession—it was his calling. He had a genuine soft spot for helping those in need and made a lasting impact on countless lives through his compassion, patience, dedication and humor.

He loved his family deeply and found great joy in spending time with them. Jason is survived by his beloved spouse, Stephanie Goss, and his cherished children, London and Morgen, who were the center of his world.

Outside of work, Jason enjoyed golfing, fishing, exploring new restaurants, tasting new recipes, and watching football—especially cheering on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. A true music lover, he appreciated all genres and always found comfort and joy in a good song.

Jason leaves behind family and friends who loved him dearly and will forever remember his kind heart, warm spirit, and unwavering devotion to those he cared for.
