Jason Glen Willard

July 7, 1976 March 13, 2026

Oxford, MS

Jason Glen Willard, 49, of Oxford, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.

Born on July 7, 1976, in Batesville, Mississippi, to Nina L. Connell and Jimmy G. Willard, Jason displayed a boundless energy and adventurous spirit from an early age. He loved the outdoors, finding particular joy in fishing and hunting. He cherished deer hunting and often recalled his youthful coon hunting adventures. Over the years, he fished in lakes and streams across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi, creating lasting memories with those he loved.

Jason’s greatest happiness came from his family. He put loved ones first, brightening every gathering with his presence. At home, he was always ready to tackle yard work or repair anything that needed fixing. His hands were seldom idle, and his willingness to help was constant. His Christian faith served as the foundation of his life, guiding him with quiet strength and deep devotion.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristin D. Willard of Sardis, MS; his son, Cameron Willard of Crenshaw, MS; his granddaughter, Ava Russell of Sardis; his brother, Aaron P. Willard of Batesville, MS; his mother, Nina L. Connell of Batesville; his father, Jimmy G. Willard (Shelia) of Water Valley, MS; his step-sister, Angela Barley of Water Valley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Jason was preceded in death by his daughter, Taylor N. Willard, and his brother, Joseph A. Willard.
